Instructional Design Internship

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks a responsible and reliable student for an Instructional Design internship to help develop technology-based instructional tools for innovative learning experiences in all teaching modes, including face-to-face, hybrid and distance learning. The intern will join the Instructional Design team and be mentored by the Director of Instructional Design Services.

Responsibilities:

  • · Develop dynamic, creative learning solutions utilizing appropriate media that meet the identified instructional needs
  • · Assist with researching solutions for innovative project support and implementation
  • · Document solutions to frequently asked questions for print and online publications
  • · Other duties as assigned
  • Skills and experience can be any combination of:
  • · Web design and development, web 2.0, social media
  • · Learning Management Systems support
  • · Graphic design, animation, video production
  • · Instructional design
  • · Distance and online learning

Qualifications:

  • · Reliable and responsible
  • · Ability to adapt and learn new software programs quickly
  • · Ability to proactively work on tasks and projects
  • · Strong communication and organizational skills
  • · Attention to detail
  • · Problem-solving skills
  • · Available for 10-30 hours each week
