Great opportunity to learn more about Nutrition Assistance Program and other human service programs

Hunger Solutions New York has an upcoming Outreach Convention regarding the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP this May 21st that would be a wonderful opportunity for SUNY students to interact, network and learn about human service, federal nutrition assistance programs like SNAP.  We have been making a special effort to connect to Albany area students to help educate them about the benefits of the SNAP program. There will be a number of local non-profit agencies, human service organizations and New York state-wide Nutrition Outreach and Education Program Coordinators giving brief informational presentations.

The 2 hour convention will feature a Certificate of Participation that students can earn once they have gone through the SNAP curriculum.  We believe this will be an incredible opportunity for students to connect and network to local non-profits and human service organizations, learn and be educated about SNAP and earn a Certificate of Participation about SNAP.
