1st National Women in Cybersecurity Conference

This is funded by NSF SFS Award#1303441: Capacity Building: Broadening Participation  in Cybersecurity.

The conference is an effort to bring together women (students/faculty/researchers/professionals) in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry for sharing of knowledge/experience, networking and mentoring. Any individual or organization interested in recruitment/retention of women in this field and/or diversification of their cybersecurity workforce is especially encouraged to get involved.

The conference registration cost is subsidized and includes lodging and meals over duration of the conference.

We are targeting around 200 attendees: among these, 50% students, 25% educators, 25% professionals.

The WiCyS conference  will offer:

•             Distinguished speaker sessions

•             Technical presentations

•             Technical workshops (both for faculty and students)

•             Poster competitions

•             Birds-of Feather discussions

•             Panel discussions

•             Lightning talks

•             Career fair

We have limited capacity and therefore, please reserve your spot as soon as possible.
