Urban Arts Experience, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating individuals about the unique experience of urban communities through the theatrical and performing arts. Urban Arts Experience, Inc., is committed to providing diversity, awareness and prevention programming that promote positive social change, academic achievement, and cultural enlightenment, and encourages positive and healthy behaviors in urban communities.

Position available:
After School Program Director/Assistant – Theatre Arts Program

The After School Program staff must enjoy working with school aged children and/or high school teens. They are responsible for planning activities, ensuring safety of all students in the program and interacting with children and their families.  Good communication skills, working independently as well as with a team, and the ability to create an enriching, fun, and safe environment are all crucial in this role. The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model to participants in the program.

This position is ideal for someone who is looking to work a few hours in the afternoon, is creative, child-oriented, responsible, a self starter and dedicated.

Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 6pm with some Fridays & weekends

$9 – $12 an hr depending on experience.

Don’t have a car? Not a problem! This program site is on the bus route!
