Interested in making a difference in a college student’s life? Mohawk Valley Community College is seeking a STEP Project Assistant.

MVCC  is seeking an excellent candidate to serve as STEP Project Assistant.

This individual will be responsible for assisting the Director of Student Engagement and Outreach in developing, implementing, evaluating, recruiting, and maintaining the Science and Technology Entry Program for students in grades 7-12.

Prepare and preside over pertinent presentations for STEP students, parents and associated constituents; prepare and plan events aimed at assisting students to thoughtfully plan their academic futures; facilitate student improvement in study skills, reading, and writing; assist students
individually or in groups with academic and career planning and flexibility to work evening and weekends.

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years experience working with a diverse population of students required. Master’s degree and experience working with students in grades 7-12 preferred. Official Academic Transcript required at time of hire.
