Linium Technologies has been engaged by Maximus, a government contractor who is setting up the healthcare exchanges under the new health care reform laws for various states, to recruit for customer service representatives to operate the call center.
Currently, Linium is recruiting for full-time and part-time positions that will man the call center from 8am to 8pm M-F. Maximus needs 800-900 new CSR employees. The call center will be located off Corporate Woods Blvd in Albany, NY. These positions are all temp to perm with conversion to permanent employment with Maximus after 90-120 days.
Work from home opportunities are available once a candidate goes permanent. Paid training is expected to start early to mid-August.
Any prior customer service experience will be considered, however candidates with exposure to healthcare, health insurance etc. will have a better chance to be hired as a tier 2 rep instead of tier 1. All candidates will be required to take a typing test and a customer service mindset test. For consideration, candidates must have at least a GED or higher and proof of education will be required for the employee to convert to permanent status with Maximus.
Once hired as a perm employee, they will have access to affordable health insurance, various other Maximus benefits and quarterly bonuses based on performance that to add up to an additional 5.5% of their salary.
