National Grid Internship Opportunities

National Grid is pleased to offer PAID internships starting May 2013 ending in August 2013 for current college students seeking to gain experience with a world-class organization.  Various internships are available companywide for college students studying the following fields:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

Responsibilities will vary based upon your course of study and the business unit to which you are assigned.  The successful candidate must be pursuing a college degree and possess excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to gain real work experience then we invite you to apply for summer internships.

Please note that the ideal candidate must meet our qualifications for the program:

  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA for Undergraduate Students
  • 3.2 Cumulative GPA for Graduate Students
  • Applicant must have accumulated 18 or more credits and be 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship
  • Registered in school as a full time student
