Student Internship with Office of Information and Technology

The State University of New York System Administration, located in Albany, New York is searching for a part-time SUNY student to assist within the Office of Information and Technology with various tasks related to web development.  The duties include:

Web site development and programming

User Training
Web application maintenance
Third Party Software support
Documentation

 

Applicants with the following skills will be considered:

 

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Programming experience/skills in any combination is a plus: Java, Java Frameworks, relational database design, revision control software, ColdFusion, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, JSP, SQL, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

 

Ability to be flexible, positive, take initiative, and demonstrate good judgment.

 

Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow-through on tasks and project.

 

Experience with or interest in higher education administration.
